The scaling is linear, gaining 4 damage with each mod level

Tips & Combinations

• Sharp shot works better with fast firing, low-damage weapons like the laser guns because they benefit more from the flat damage rather than the percent damage. Sharp shot therefore is better or on par with most other rare damage mods for 13 of the 17 weapons in the game
• Most rare damage Weapon Mods come with some sort of drawback while Sharp Shot only gives additional damage without any drawback manifesting it even more as the best rare damage mod
• Since sharp shot is one the best rare Weapon Mods, for some weapons even surpassing Damage Shot, a high difficulty run can be decided solely by either having or not having sharp shot
